Since 1994, we have been offering the public memorable experiences through popular fireworks — meaning Suomen Rakettitukku Oy is now almost 30 years old! Our headquarters are located in Kempele, Northern Ostrobothnia, but around New Year, our yellow-and-black colors spread across Finland with over 350 sales points. Another growing and geographically expanding fireworks sales season is the Venetian Festival, marking the end of the cottage season on the last Saturday of August. During this time, we set up along the Ostrobothnian coast, and each year, more sales locations are added across Finland. Additionally, our fireworks shops are open year-round at our permanent sales points.
With a small year-round team, we prepare everything needed for the New Year's season — from finalizing our selection and placing product orders to training sellers, selecting sales points, receiving products, and much more. Although our office staff is small, Rakettitukku employs thousands of people for the year-end fireworks season. For example, various sports club members work behind the sales counters; the work is enjoyable, and clubs earn funds for activities such as trips.
